MyAppliances supply appliances for DIY SOS Veteran’s Special

Many of you would have caught the two-part DIY SOS: The Big Build Veteran’s Special and been completely inspired by the stories of ex-service men and woman. The Big Build saw the DIY SOS Team and a number of fantastic volunteers from all over the UK grasp the project and transform a Manchester street into a tranquil community for ex-service men and women.

We are proud to say that we have supplied various kitchen appliances to DIY SOS: Big Build Veteran’s Special. We provided full kitchens including ovens, fridge freezers, cooker hoods and hobs to a much worthy cause and couldn’t be happier to have been a part of a really special event.

Stacy and Metin from the team here at MyAppliances were lucky enough to go along to Manchester and watch the big reveal. Stacy had this to say about the day, ‘The big reveal was really emotional and inspiring. I was able to see the finished street and you could really see the amount of hard work and effort everyone put in. I am sure it all made it worthwhile when we saw how grateful the veterans were. A real privilege and honour to be a part of something so special.’

Our dishwasher, ceramic hobs, hoods and ovens made a sneaky appearance and looked fantastic in the modern kitchen designs chosen!
