Kitchen Inspiration: Homes of the Rich & Famous
In the middle of a kitchen refit? Sometimes, there can be no better inspiration than the homes of the rich and famous? With more money than they know what to do with, the stars often know how to do decor – and how to do it right. That said, a little extra cash doesn’t always buy you class.
But because we know you’ve got great taste – you wouldn’t be here on the My Appliances site, after all – we’re bringing you some of our favourite celebrity kitchen makeovers from around the net. So grab a cuppa and get a load of these beautiful homes…
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Number one on this beautiful kitchen roundup over at stayathomemum.co.uk is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s pad – and we didn’t quite expect what we saw over on the site! The couple’s style surprised us here at My Appliances – a high-end, French-style kitchen is complemented by minimal accessories in an overall look that really works. Grey features quite heavily, too – and if you’re looking for appliances in the same shade, you’ll find everything from hobs to splashbacks right here on the site.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne’s back on our screens on TV’s X Factor at the moment, so we thought there was no better time than now to feature her here on the blog. Head over to the Architectural Digest site and you’ll see the couple’s stunning kitchen, which features marble tops and beautiful deep red seating. According to the site, Sharon and Ozzy wanted a comfortable, country house-esque kitchen – and we think they’ve more than pulled it off. Click the link above to take a look at what they’ve done with the space.
King Of Leon’s Nathan Followill
When it comes to having a great eye for interiors, you don’t quite expect a member of one of the world’s biggest rock bands to be able to give Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen a run for his money – well, do you? But Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon certainly has taste; just take a look at his kitchen over on the Pop Sugar site.
With a vintage look, the space features honed slate to the counters and backsplashes, yet elsewhere there’s the odd contemporary touch.
A key trend for 2016/2017 is copper – and it can be used to great effect in retro-styled interiors schemes. While this isn’t a shot from Nathan’s beautifully-styled kitchen, we loved these copper pans (below), perfectly lined up in this practical-looking space.
